JASON GRILL
Jason Grill is the Owner of JGrill Media and Consulting, a media relations, public affairs, public relations, government relations, political consulting, public strategies, publicity and outreach firm. Jason is a strategic relationship builder who is very passionate about connecting individuals and businesses to get the right exposure, resources and real business development. He also works as a local, state and national contributor, commentator and analyst. Jason writes for the Huffington Post, Politico, KC Business Magazine, Politix (Topix) and the Recovering Politician. He is a television political analyst for Fox 4 WDAF, a regular contributor to Wall Street Journal Radio and host of the Entrepreneur KC Radio Show on the KMBZ Business Channel. He has hosted the Fantasy Football Show on Sports Radio 810.
In addition, Jason is a practicing attorney in Missouri and Kansas. He is a former two-term member of the Missouri House of Representatives, where he passed historic legislation to help families of children with autism. (Video). He passed legislation under both Gov. Matt Blunt and Gov. Jay Nixon.
Jason currently serves on the Board of Directors at Don Bosco, the Board of Advisors at Neighbor.ly, the Board of Advisors at the Partnership for Technology Innovation and as a Community Media/Press Leader for KC Startup Village. He is a mentor at SparksLabKC and BetaBlox and has consulted and worked with numerous startups, entrepreneurs, innovators and technology companies.
Jason has worked as an adjunct professor at Park University. He also has worked in the White House with a senior advisor to Vice President Al Gore and an advisor to President Bill Clinton, Alvin Brown (Currently Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida), as well as at the CNN with senior political correspondent, Brooks Jackson (Director of factcheck.org).
Jason Grill is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia law school where he earned a JD and an advanced certificate in dispute resolution. He graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University with a bs in business administration majoring in economics and minoring in political science. Jason also studied in Rome, Italy through Loyola University Chicago’s Rome Center.
